Selma is an unforgettable story of a movement which depicts the period of three month in 1956 which was later marked among history. During this period the great leader, Dr. Martin Luther King led a campaign for equal voting rights for all the people. The long struggle movement from Selma to Montgomery came to an end when President Johnson signed the voting right act 1965. It was marked as one one of the most significant victories for the civil rights movement. The director of the film Ava DuVernay has beautifully shown in the film how the respected leader of the nation and visionary Dr. Martin Luther King and his followers became the reason for the changes that altered the history for ever.
